Say what you want about Kristen Stewart’s acting chops—when it comes to playing a not-quite-ripe hooker, nobody beats her. Although James Gandolfini looks like he’s on the verge of doing so in the following footage.

Behold, a newly released clip from the much-anticipated K-Stew flick Welcome to the Rileys, in which the New Moon star plays 16-year-old prostitute Mallory, who Gandolfini—as married middle-aged man Doug Riley—takes under his wing after meeting her in a strip club. (Sounds like fun for the whole family!)

In the following sneak peek, Gandolfini’s character berates Stewart for her constant pottty-mouth. Because as we all know by now, if it’s one thing that James Gandolfini can’t stand for, it’s cursing.

Better build a new addition onto your home, Kristen; after this thing hits theaters, you’re going to need the extra space for all the awards.

Sundance director defends including two of Kristen Stewart’s films

Sundance Film Festival director John Cooper recently spoke out in defense of his decision to include two of Kristen Stewart’s film on this year’s festival schedule.

Those films, of course, are Welcome To The Rileys and The Runaways.

In Rileys, Stewart portrays a young woman (who happens to be a stripper), and she is joined on the cast by The Sopranos alum James Gandolfini and her former The Cake Eaters co-star Melissa Leo.

In The Runaways, you already know, Stewart portrays the one and only Joan Jett, and she is joined on the cast by her New Moon and Eclipse co-star Dakota Fanning.

Clearly, both roles are of night and day difference (almost literally) from Stewart’s work in Twilight, but according to the Toronto Sun, “Stewart’s inclusion has raised some hackles among cinephiles.”

Cooper, however, isn’t budging. Said he, “She’s putting her money where her mouth is . . . I think it’s great. These are tough parts.” Keepin’ it classy, Mr. Cooper. Nicely done.

AskMen.com just came out with their annual list of the year’s 99 Most Desirable Women, and the top 10 included some of the usual suspects while omitting a few of our favorites. Emmanuelle Chriqui landed 2010’s number one spot, with Marisa Miller, Kate Beckinsale, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Jessica Alba rounding out the top five. KRISTEN STEWART DENIES DATING PATTINSON

The 19-year-old actress – who plays Robert’s
character’s lover in the first movie in the series – understands why
fans would want them to date in real-life but a there is a difference
between fiction and reality.

She said of her handsome 23-year-old co-star: “I
get why fans want to know more about the cast as real people and they
want us to be together and all of that. I just have to sort of not
think about that. People have a hard time separating us from our
characters.”

Kristen
also confessed she is a control freak and used to worry about how she
publicly came across, but now claims she doesn’t care what people
think of her.

She told Parade magazine: “As soon as I stopped
trying to control everything that came out of my mouth and every
picture of me that came out, that’s when I became so much happier.”

“It wasn’t like some big turning point, I’ve just
grown into being able not to care as much. I realize that I’m not
going to be able to influence the way everybody perceives me.”

Rumors of Kirsten and Robert
dating circulated again last week after their “The
Twilight Saga: New Moon” co-star Peter
Facinelli linked a photo of them holding hands at a Paris airport
to his Twitter page.

He wrote: “Co-stars caught holding hands. Guess
this picture proves everything.”

Hardwicke also recently claimed the pair were in a relationship,
saying: “I didn’t have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say.
In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn’t happen on the
first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.”

“I think it took a long time for Kristen to
realize, ‘OK, I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with
this person.’”

Kristen Stewart BAFTA Rising Star Award

Twilight beauty Kristen Stewart has been nominated for Orange Rising Star Award 2010. The award recognises five international actors and actresses whose talent has inspired popular acclaim from the British public. Other nominees include: Jesse Eisenberg, Nicholas Hoult, Carey Mulligan & Tahar Rahim. Previous winners include James McAvoy in 2006, Eva Green in 2007, Shia LaBeouf in 2008. Voting details HERE.

Kristen’s former longtime boyfriend Michael Angarano was spotted getting cozy with with Alia Shawkat, Kristen’s costar in the upcoming film Runaways, at Auntie Em’s Kitchen in LA on Jan. 8. The eyewitness tells Life & Style Weekly:

‘At first Michael and Alia just sat next to each other and didn’t seem terribly intimate but as time went on Michael was leaning in to her and always made sure that he was touching her or brushing her arm. The pair were with actress Mae Whitman and her boyfriend.’ Alia, mostly known for her role as Maeby on the comedy Arrested Development, ’sat closer to Michael, and they were more intimate and physical. He was touching her a lot.’
